La Vista

La Vista City Centre is a private development project, led by City Ventures, to revitalize a 34-acre site along the 84th Street Corridor. The corridor once was a vibrant shopping district on the edge of the Omaha Metro. The City has grown around it and over the years the big box stores have migrated to the outskirts of the metro, which has left a large void in what is now an area that is centrally located with great access to the entire Greater Omaha Metro area. City Ventures collaborated with the global planning firm EDSA and the City of La Vista to come up with a redevelopment plan that connects the community’s goals with the voids in the market to create a new community destination. The $200+ million project plans to replace a vacant shopping center with approximately 350 apartments, more than 200,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment space, 100,000 square feet of lofted office space, as well as space for a “signature” build-to-suit office site and boutique hotel site.
